Eco loves to pose for photo-taking. He does not move when I take a photo of him. He's a natural model...He is coming to 4 months old and he certainly has grown with the new diet-'friskies' canned and dry food+ milk for breakfast. He loves seafood.

Milo might be cute, but he is fat. As a result he shakes his butt while walking. And surprisingly, every tree he passes, he has to pee. So he usually goes for long walks and pees a lot.

This is Eco trying to crawl out from her cat litter after "peeing". Her urine will be cleanly absorbed into the cat litter without any bad odour. The cat litter needs to be changed at least once a week or as frequently as you wish to.

This is Eco at 1 month old. She weighs 650g today and is learning to "pee" in the cat litter. Find out more soon!

Eco is 475g this week. Did you see her new collar? Eco has some teeth now so she is being trained to feed on some some dry cereals with milk supplement as well as canned ocean fish with chicken. We will test her out to see how she adjusts to her new diet comprising milk, cereals and canned food for breakfast, lunch and dinner respectively.

This is typical meal for Milo daily, with a mixture of broccoli, carrots, fresh minced beef and dry lamb and Rice. Yummy, isn't it? He finishes his food in less than 5 minutes.

This is how Eco sucks her milk bottle. Hopefully, it is the right posture to feed her. She is already on her 2nd tin of powered milk.

Milo is currently chewing on his favourite cow bone. The cow bone is supposed to help him clean his teeth and exercise his jaws while he gets to enjoy the bone. Look at how curious Eco is. She is wondering what is so interesting about chewing that bone.

Eco is now 350g. She is getting more and more active and she likes to crawl around the house. Very soon, she will prefer to roam around than to stay in her box. Look at her pose! It is normally difficult to take a good picture as Eco doesn't know how to sit or rather stay still...

Eco (Female Native cat)

Eco was born and abandoned by her mother at Fengshan Eco garden on 30 June 08 but was adopted on 1 July 08

Eco is given that name so that she can remember her place of birth at the Eco garden

She is a very adorable kitty with a pair of closed eyes and continuous meowing when she was adopted

Eco weighed 120g when she was adopted and was fed with 30 ml of Lactose free powdered milk for cats every 4 hourly

Her 2 black "longan" eyes opened 3 days after she was borned

Now, on 12 July 08, Eco weighs 250g and she is drinking 60ml of milk

She sleeps in a comfortable box cushioned with a few towels

Eco "pees" 3 times a day and "poos" once a day

Eco never stops meowing when she is hungry

Once in a while, she gets to exercise her limbs by crawling around the house and playing with Milo

Whenever you call her name "Eco", she will crawl towards you

She will soon visit the vet for inoculation and a thorough health checkup

Milo (Male Border Collie)

was given by our friend on 30 May 08 as his owner has migrated to Australia

Milo was 20kg when we adopted him, deemed to be overweight by the Vet

His daily diet comprises fresh food like brocoli, carrots, hardboiled egg, sweetpotatoes, beef mixed with 1 serving cup of dried lamb food.

Due to his borderline overweight, he is now fed once a day but with much water and some snacks during the day

For hygiene purpose, Milo takes a good bath with dog's shampoo once a week and given his thick coat of fur, he has to be dried with a hair dryer lest he catches a cold

Dogs need to be treated from flea infection so Milo has to be administered with a "Flea treatment ampoule" once a month

Milo is a sheep dog who is capable of running 80km a day thus we either run or walk with him thrice a day at 7am, 6pm and 9.30pm. He also does his "big business" during his walk cos he knows he cannot "poo" at home

Milo is a very friendly dog and everyone knows him in the neighbourhood as he socializes quite a bit

Milo went for his first grooming today, was scared at first but was elated after his good shower, thorough cleaning of ears, cutting of nails and some trimming of his thick coat of fur

Milo will soon visit the vet for sterilization
